Never Alone Retreat

Here’s what you can expect:

If you choose in-person: 

  • Wonderful food
  • Casual dress
  • Comfortable seating at tables, with pens and notebooks provided, for taking notes.
  • Plenty of breaks and snacks.
  • If you are flying in, enjoy a stay at a hotel that will allow you time away from parenting, working, and the daily stress of life.
  • Perspective on your greatest challenges, allowing you to move forward from where you are currently stuck!

 

Details:

  • If you are flying in, you will enjoy our beautiful state of Minnesota!
  • You will fly into the Humphrey Terminal or Lindbergh Terminal at MSP Airport.
  • Use Uber or Lyft, rent a car, or get a taxi. The drive will be about 45 minutes to our Rogers location.
  • There are fast-casual food options nearby: Starbucks, Caribou Coffee, Noodles, Chipotle, Freddy’s
  • We will provide breakfast and lunch each day.
  • Sit-down restaurants for dinner include Maynards, Short and Tall, Pour Bistro, and Clive’s Roadhouse Grill

Here’s the schedule of the event:

Thursday night: Arrive in Minnesota; check into hotel. Take some time for YOU!
Catch up on sleep in your hotel room and just enjoy some alone time. Or, meet up with another member for dinner!

Friday: Front Porch Musical Theatre
9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (central)  Sessions (coffee and a light breakfast included)

12:00 p.m. Lunch (catered in and no extra cost to you)

1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Sessions

Saturday: Front Porch Musical Theatre
9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Sessions (coffee and a light breakfast included)

12:00 p.m. Lunch (catered in and no extra cost to you)

1:00- 5:00 p.m. Sessions

Most members will drive home after dinner or fly home the next morning.
Please do not leave early–the end is the best part!
*Nursing babes in arms are welcome, if needed!

The Never Alone Retreat is an opportunity to dive into why and how marketing to your strengths and personality is so important. It will help you save time, energy, and resources when you recognize that tapping into how God designed you is what you want to lead with when you handle your small business. You will walk away with the experience of what you heard while also having the workbook that is packed with tangible information to guide you after the Retreat is over. I loved and am grateful for the virtual format since I live far away from Minnesota. The duration and frequency of the breaks was a perfect balance in helping me get brain and movement breaks. For me, I liked the time frame. I felt energized vs. wiped out. The time flew by and made me want more - which is nice way to end a retreat!

I had a lot of fun attending the retreat, and getting to meet and interact with all of the other VAs who are on a similar journey as myself.
